Another rainy day in Toronto

Weather for the ducks,
And meteorologically insane.
Some say that it sucks,
Others say a pain.
#Toronto can’t get enough,
Of early summer rain.

A poem I tweeted earlier today, with a photo showing the upside of our really lousy weather: a beautiful landscape.

Summer Solstice – Evening

Tilia americana

Tilia americana

Evening fell the fragrant scent,
From Linden flowers and as we went,
The drifting clouds full moon delight,
Grateful Spirits this Solstice night.

#4 Cosmos

Another front yard photo with available light.

…from the WikipediaCosmos is a genus of about 20–26 species of annual and perennial plants in the family Asteraceae, native to scrub and meadow areas in Mexico (where the bulk of the species occur), the southern United States (Arizona, Florida), Central America and northern South America south to Paraguay.
